To be, or not to be, to do is to be, dooby dooby doo (Sinatra), scooby dooby doo. Watch out Scooby, we're passing through Springfield Illinois. Rat's alright, they only eat pet's. So, I not only 'research comedy, perform and write comedy, I rehearse, nearly 24/7. I'm now, not only extending my life-time class clown persona, and almost always trying to lift people up through humor, I am testing new jokes with every conversation. Make the Barista laugh, make the grocery clerk laugh, make the police officer laugh, make myself laugh is why I keep this up, as if any of them were asking to interrupt their worker bee, assembly line lives.
I made a childless cat lady joke to a new barista at my regular drive through. She said, sorry, I didn't hear you. I repeated to a truly blank expression, and then I said, Trump's VP made a comment about childless cat lady's. .........................She then said, oh, yeah, I saw something about that on Taylor Swift's blog's. Wow. It was bad enough during the elections of Clinton, Bush and Obama, that the majority of voter's got their political information from late night comedy shows, now a new kind of diversion and idolatry and so many distractions. No time to actually stay informed, and probably not motivated earlier to achieve academic competency.
I did a miserable podcast when I returned and this one is inclusive with apology and make up of the same comedic sketch. Hopefully much better. I plan to delete the original, but may already have done that.
