Friday Funny's:

The past 12 day's have been a heroic move on my part, and the initial footwork to make Brooking's my permanent home. Yet another beautiful afternoon and evening of clear sky's and warm sunshine. I ended up pushing myself too hard for my own health concern's and re-entered my complex phase of my PTSD. With this stress, I think I have forgotten two standup plans. I'll go back to hurricane Helena watch, and see if one of them pop's back into my mind.

My friend Paul Block, who was Johny Carson's comedy producer for 10 years, and many documentary's hold Don Rickles (Johnny's single most frequent guest, as one of the most generous and kind people in Hollywood. Rodney Dangerfield, was also a kind hearted man, with their stick being in your face raunchy humor. Tim Allen, on the other hand, is rumored to be hard hearted and hateful of many group's and belief's. The nice can portray the mean, and the mean can portray the kind; their contempt for good, or bad gives them an edge in mocking character's. Tim Allen would rev up his live audience with Rush Limbaugh inspired humor. Laughing is contagious, so this formula worked for the audience laughing at clean family humor. John Belushi was a confirmed misogynist, and probably hated his mother by the age of 5. If he had his way SNL would have only featured male writer's and actor's. Sick, and not the good kind of sick.

JB was enough proof for me, that not only the good die young. Our great comedian's of the past, were so much on the road, Vaudeville and the like, that their family lives were non existent, unless you were George and Gracie, or Rickie and Lucy, and then your stardom allowed a Beverly Hills normal family life; ha, ha.

I really don't like any type of hate comedy, and probably couldn't pull it off to begin with. Now I consider myself very nice and giving, which mean's I should be very cleaver at hate standup, in your face: I'm not. Self deprecation and making fun of your spouse appear's to be the only in you face standup that I can imagine doing. Take my wife, please take my wife, one of the single most famous one liner's of Vaudeville. Listening to their comedy, one would think Rodney and Don had the ugliest and most stupid wives on the planet. And I bet you they were sweet and quite attractive. So I will think upon the standup for Today's Funny's.
