Inspiration Tuesday's:

In both the book and the excellent movie, "Meeting's with Remarkable Men", a story is told about two "brother" monk's who have an annual visit to a remote monastery inn the mountains. They both talk, one slow, dull and unanimated. The second brother sang like a nightingale and aroused the entire brotherhood. After they departed, the brothers would talk about nothing but the exciting speaker, for about a week. Then they would talk about the slow low message for the entire year..

Mega churches arise out of the songbirds of the pulpit. Their leader's and their follower's are destined to failure, it's just a matter of time. Those that are home-grown organic, are destined to make it big time. It is the hare and the tortoise race of human's versus nature. Ego versus humility. Acceptance and tolerance, and acting naturally. As it's hard for the human ego to build up a scam out of belief in nothingness. There be no Buddhist mega monastery's, but all world religions hold human influences and intolerances. Eclectic spirituality, called comparative religion will show "truths" that live in all sacred texts, and these are the spiritual truths that are worthy of practice. Many path's, similar path's, but a choice is necessary unless you are a spiritual tightrope walker with no need of nets. Chose that which feels and fits, and stick with those discipline's, knowing that it is the individual practice not the building, congregation or leaders.

Knowing that life goes better when we comply with natural laws, and I, like many, believe that prayer and meditation are productive elements of my personal practice. And knowing the golden rule, we can thrive by just being ourselves, as long as we have some consistent mindfulness. I think, and feel it logical, that every day that we miraculously awaken, take a breath, open our eye's we are blessed. We find gratitude, and from this inspiration enters the equation big time. I hope you all have and inspired Tuesday.
