Inspirational Tuesday's:

Throughout history, people have talked. For nearly three thousand years people have written. The themes of writing reflect our cultures and deal with the here and now, the past and the future, inspiration and wonderment, and finally tragedy. The here and now conversation's are taken for the purpose of action and understanding. The past, mostly for lesson's learned, and individual virtues and shame. The future has mostly been found within the circle of the season's and the dreams of warriors. Tragedy is shared for self-preservation. Inspiration, the stuff of philosophy, is both wonderment, and making the best of often bad situations.

Today's inspirational quotes come from the stoic's Epiclitis and Marcus Aurelius. Quotes reflecting stoic philosophy on how to best navigate life:

  1. "Some things are in our control, other's are not". Not wasting our efforts on the un-accomplishable.

  2. "You have power over your minds, not outside events. Realize this ad you will find strength"

  3. "The impediment to action advances action" Necessity is the mother of invention.

  4. "The best revenge is not to be like your enemy". And don't stoop to their level of engagement.

  5. "Don't explain your philosophy, embody it". Walk your talk, talk less.

  6. "Waste no more tie arguing what a good man should be, be one".

  7. "The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thought's.
