Just an old fashion Love song:

As my personal life begins to significantly settle down, and though there were times in the past year (actually 8 years) when I felt overwhelmed; the entire time I had my hands, more than full. Not an idiom, but could be, overflowing with loss. I never felt a victim, but leaned into a nihilistic bent, of not wanting to exist in this time and space any longer. Of course you can't be a devout Weslyian Methodist and a nihilist at the same time, but I have no better descriptive word to define the emptiness that existed within. These 8 years represented 7 years of recovery from a major reaction to a medicine that left me clueless, lost and soon homeless. I have finally recovered, and in fact see improvements from who I was before the injury.

I feel pretty good about my future today, and yesterday, and the yesterday before that, but most of the past 8 years, I could not see my self out of the woods, but knew I must keep walking. Fortunately the human species is built to walk, and I love walking, especially on road's less traveled. So this site's blog's on Tuesday's are themed Inspirational Tuesday's and there will be another one, but this one is blending inspiration and music (Monday's)

Though music certainly can be inspiring, it cannot make a person inspired. It might even make them angry (See Star Track IV :)). So many thing's can be magnificent, and inspiring, again, not able to force inspiration into a single human. Many people travel to seek magnificent examples of nature, art, design, theater, history and on and on. Needing to see it in person to ensure the complete experience. Hum?

A friend of mine was with her sister looking down at a magnificent view of the Grand Canyon, when a RV showed up. The driver and the passenger got out, hurried to the viewpoint, took a picture, got back in their RV and left. Documentation of their "in person" experience with the Grand Canyon. This is often the way we travel and live our lives. It is hard for me to imagine this as an inspired existence. For me, that I continue to, day after day, awaken, and find the ability to continue to walk the road less traveled, with eye's wide open, ear's attentive, nose leading the way and a song in my voice, and the heart not the brain acting as compass.

The Beatle's, focus of this second blog, wrote money can't buy you love. Inspiration is also something that money cannot buy. It is ours, and ours alone, to find, enhance, lose, rediscover, and thus inspiration, like love is a state that our species thrives upon. I hope you have an inspired and lovely day.
