Monday's Muse as music:

On the pod cast, 4 songs by Jim Morrison and the Door's, the muse Jim, who dazzled the times with his deep and dark poetry/lyrics. He was banned in the south for years for indecent exposure on stage, but his was an in your face to the racist war loving hypocrite's who could kill and steal, but not allow dirty words. He would die mysteriously in Paris, and his grave is the single most visited grave site in France to this very day. More than like Elvis, people have rumored that he faked his death to escape the danger's of his fame.

Jim had "it", and the crowd's went wild, as he made love to his mike, and oozed sensuality. At the same time, his songs had an overall in-your-face ridicule of the western dreams and action's of those in power. Some of his songs remain in the public consciousness, but the muse part of his work remains hidden from most, as those he ridiculed came out on top, and the music industry remains subservient to the higher powers. He impacted me, as I listened to the 1968 live in LA, double album, over and over, as I bought most of their records over a few short years.

Because Jim had the "it factor", he can never be copied on revered. I will just sing the songs as Omar, as none of my 75 singer voices ever covered a song by the doors, so to make his song Johny Cash, Tom Waits or anyone else is just plain silly. I hope I hold my own, and you all enjoy.
