Music Monday's:

The word Monday comes to us from the Anglo-Saxon word Monandaeg, which translates to "the moon's day". The second day of the week has been the moon's day since Babylonian times. These years ranged from 2,000 BC to 1,600 BC, even before the legend's of Greek oral history. During these pre-lumen years of mankind (sic) the moon shined like a lessor sun, and was seen to impact tides, and behavior. The word lunatic comes from the still held belief that the full moon brings out the animal nature of man (sic). A belief held for 3,000 years, that remains "unproven" by modern science, in spite of 50 years of reported and measured increases of emergency room admission's to hospitals. Go figure. "The world is flat" and the fact that a marble doesn't roll proves it.

The menstrual cycle of women is timed with the lunar phase, until lights entered our darkness. Studies have found that when teen's move into college dormitories, their cycles unite socially, in spite of the moon's lost influences. The light generated by the moons reflection is measured in the infra-red spectrum, and stimulates the production of melatonin and serotonin. The sun light is both visible and ultra-violet. Infra red penetrates an inch into the flesh, whereas UV's penetration is only 2 mm, or less than 1/100th of an inch, enough to activate Vitamin D levels in the capillaries. Sunlight prevents more cancer's than its absence prevent's, and it has clear immune regulation and anti-depressant chemical mobilization. Light, both during the day, and the night has profound benefits.

When you consider the un-namable, as light or love, it is easy to see how and why, early societies deified both the sun and the moon. The brilliant stars, with their visible nightly rotation and cluster's of constellation's, evoked similar deification's and astrology and astronomy were one. In the days of Samaria, It was known that the earth rotated around the sun, as well as a documented full solar system that reached to Neptune and Uranus. This remained true for about 2,000 year's as science declined, and the world returned to a heliocentric version, in which the sun rotated around the earth. The sun, moon division remains in the Chaldean tree of life, with the moon influencing women and "magic", and the sun influencing men and power. The Cabala, remains as a Pagan source of orthodox Judaism. 4,000 BC to the present can be seen as a "human" deification of God like existence. All pride, no humility, and no obedience to the light of the creator. In the Hindu science of the ages of man (sic), these years represent the "physical" (dark ages), and "electric" phases of existence. We now enter a 600 year period of the "magnetic" phase or era, finally emerging around 2,600, as a spiritual, enlightened, image of the creator. The Mayan calendar aligned with this astrological prediction, and observed the end of times in 1998. The past 25 years have been a conflicting time of significant change, hopefully leveling out soon. Only time will tell.
