Sunday Gathering; Home of Loving Spirit

Today we put forth the question: Why do we so often struggle with making the right choices in our own lives?

When you think about it, each and every one of us, is their own captain, and navigator in life. Few uf us sacrifice this constant truth. Outside forces can necessitate or even force us to live outside our intentions, needs and wants, but outside forces cannot force us to think outside of who we are. So many factors go into our thoughts about our multitude of choices, and many are either counter intuitive or ego-driven consideration's of want's over need's. Some of these outside forces feed into self-doubt and uncertainty. Pursuing the light, opening your heart awareness, and seeking clear vision and understanding is my way of walking. Here are three New Testament versus to consider. Join our gathering at 8am PST on facebook.

John 15:19If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

"And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O men of little faith?" (Matthew 6:28-30 RSV).

Fulfilling the Law Through Love

Romans 13 8-10:

Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for xthe one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: z“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore alove is the fulfilling of the law.
