Thursday's Good Life:

I have blogged about the word "Good". How do we know if our life is good? For me, one way to judge, would be, as you lay your head down upon the pillow, with reflection, do you have positive or good feelings about your day? Maybe not yer, but with time, good intentions equals a positive walk. A guided missile is said to be off course 99% of the time, always self correcting. B. F. Skinner developed trained pigeon's during WWII, that would redirect the missiles, with the same accuracy that would eventually be wired into the weapon's. Many pigeon's lived another day, as missiles became mass-produced weapon's, far beyond the ability to train birds in a laboratory.

The Good Life is assured when we choose to live and act with natural intention. Eating right, prayer and meditation daily, friendship and discourses as well as play, assuring rest, attuning your meditation to receptivity of inspiration and service: these are the bumper's that can help us guide our lives to lives well-lived.

Probably the first recommendation would be to "breath". Seize the day. When you "get your feet" in the morning, take a short time to breath deeply. filling your lungs, and expiring to full emptiness. This reduces your blood ph, from acidic to more alkaline, less inflammation. I like the mantra, "breathing in I calm my body, breathing out I smile, dwelling in the present moment, knowing that it is a perfect moment". I like full-breathing with either movement or yoga, and recommend Dennis Franklin's "The Tao of Natural Breathing". I will do a natural breath session on my live pod cast today, as well as a guided meditation. Hope you all have a "Good" day.
