Thursday's Living the Good Life:

I have written that "good life" is a totally subjective evaluation. If we think our lives are not good, what good comes from other's who think we are living the good life? That we live life well, look fit, and retain mental function's at a high level, motivates some to think this means we are living the Good Life. In my life, my recovery and continued rebounding of past skill sets and abilities, at time's I feel more like Roger Bannister, with his collapse after breaking the four minute mile mark. These past 8 years, and especially the past 18 months as I had to remediate my sister's estate of long term neglect.

Yesterday, I found that little devil on my left shoulder saying, I sure hope you are able to reach the finish line. I am in the process of buying a car, after having to sell my Audi a year ago, due to the cost's of attending to the estate need's. One of my best friends, who own's a German Auto shop, set me up with a friend to get a dependable car to investigate my future home in Southern Oregon. Banking delay's preceded the discovery that the transmission was shot. The best friend's friend, is going to rebuild the transmission next week at no cost. He has already profoundly reduced the price, and by next Friday, I should be back on the road, and away from the 2-10 bus trip's I've been doing lately. Sky and I have probably walked over 100 miles in the past week, due to many trip's between bus stops.

Last weekend, i did two pod casts for this week, cooking lesson's of my mother's potato salad plus 2, and the Guaranga Potato's of the Krishna movement. Making foods, done with love, is part of my walk, of aiming at living the good life. Dancing, listening and playing music is another "good life" principle of my intention. Seeking knowledge and wisdom, being in service completes my navigational walk intentions. Family, friends and the creator are my parallel intention's and passion's.

I have yet to choose my music for today, but you can know that it will be relevant to whatever theme has been unfolded; which is, I think, "the choice is your's".
