Wednesday's Opinion's:

I come from a time, Long Long Ago, when Jack Parr, Steve Allen and Jonny Carson held the host seat of the Tonight Show. They were Troubadour's and only in the later days of Carson did joke writer's enter the scene. Today, the late night hosts, read and perform humor with no significant exposure and rehearsal. Other than John Stewart, Jon Oliver and maybe Steven Cobert, they all seem to be hack's with almost no true talent, only laugh tracks and writer's. They should have a 24 hour delay, to at least do a better monologue and vocal inflection's throughout.

Our view of ourselves. Our's Elf's. Purt'y close, don't you think? I might add that my elf's are my business. So sayeth the cofounder of the Elf Kin's one and two (1994-2004). So, today's opinion, topic. Our opinions of ourselves.

We read in 1st Corinthians, 13 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. Our visions of ourselves is often as subjective as our vision of others and from this duality, so much evil is manifest. To have a clear view of ourselves, one must remove the blinders of the ego, and there the reflection is clear. One might seek other's view, but they too have the looking through the glass darkly.

You are allowed to pray for yourself. Meditate and pray that you might see yourself clearly. You will be amazed what sincere prayer can unfold. and from this awakening, you can start anew, and seek a clear view. You can deconstruct and reconstruct, and find a better way.
