Wednesday's Opinion's, current event's and commentary:

In my opinion, human's love too little, and judge too much. As I navigated the many chute's and ladder's of my life, from kindergarten through a few doctorate's, the question "What makes human's different from other animals?, was continually posed, with an evolving number of scientific approaches, to the biblical definition of "free will, or choice".

From July 10th through the 21st, in Dayton Tennessee, the "scopes trial", also known as "the monkey trial" took place, challenging Darwin's theories about origin and evolution,., Two of America's most known and respected lawyer's opposed each other in this internationally followed event. The lawyer's were William Jennings Bryan who led for the prosecution and Clarence Po

While this was a church versus state trial, the secular or scientific world has yet to establish in measure for what makes us "human". Opposable thumb's once was enough, and then not. Use of tools was a short lived distinction. Apes learning sign language and elephant's expressing themselves with canvas and paint's are later revelations of commonness between critter and fritter. Most crows are equal to grade-school graduate's in addition and mathematics. So what is the difference?

Possibly, the human awareness of the presence of love, in it's many form's is the single most differentiating difference between man and beast. More on this topic later today, but the sun is rising and it's time for an early walk.
