Wednesday's Opinion's, current events and commentary.

Today, I try my hand at imitating a distant cousin, Sir Winston Churchill. A few quotes, some anecdote's, his most famous speech and relativity to today. Few people are given the credit of lifting a people up against nearly insurmountable odd's, as was Winston Churchill. He came to the leadership of Great Britain after Chamberlain failed miserably in negotiating with Adolf Hitler, and departed in shame and blame.

Germany had been engaged in their future plans to rule the world since 1937 in Spain, soon, in France, and then Belgium and Poland. It didn't seem to matter how you negotiated with Germany, Hitler had inflexible plans of conquest. The late entry into the war, was due solely to the presence of the English Channel between England and Europe. Though the channel was a burial ground for many English and German soldiers.

I share a story about Churchill's grandfather and the father of Flemming, who discovered penicillin in 1928, allowing it's development and use for battle injuries in this war, and many wars thereafter. I also share a little of his wit and humor. I hope you enjoy our Wednesday blog.
