Wednesday's Waz' up Doc; news, current events and commentary:

Most of the news this week is about the Democratic National Convention. Talk about night and day differences. The Republican National Convention was a patch work of second tier musician's and actor's and high school carnival atmosphere. The Democratic convention seems more like an elaborate super bowl event. Top notch artists, famous actor's and a rousing atmosphere of excitement and unity.

The RNC is now run by the MEGA group, Trump's daughter in law, and has almost no resources, so the event was a combination of an inexperienced leader and limited funds. There was no rise in support for Trump and Vance after the event, which is virtually unheard of. Vance now has a negative 15% approval rating, and this is sinking.

The absence of Biden has changed everything and both Harris and Waltz appear to be highly attractive to the general public. If there is a typical 5 point rise for the Harris Waltz campaign, for the first time, the lead will be beyond the range of error. This will set the stage for two final events that could influence the race, the two debates that are coming up in September for Harris and Trump, and October for Vance and Waltz.

On the Israel Gaza conflict, no changes, except a few more hostages be returned as dead. Harris, and many of the speaker's she and the DNC have chosen speak of a significant shift from current US, Palestinian relations. 7 drones were launched by Ukraine, aimed at Moscow, after a two week successful incursion of Ukrainian forces into Russian territory, the first such event since WWII. Putin has virtually disappeared and his nuclear threat's are now considered mute and no longer a leverage in his position. His troops have been cut off from supplies this past week, and he is facing growing public disfavor, though criticism is not allowed in his Russia.

The pod cast will discuss the balancing act between flexibility and resolve. A continuance of the recent discussion about the strength of humility and the fall from grace danger's of pride.
